My passenger jumps at the 'pop', but we are now flying free, gliding, and we quickly relax into finding lift and thermals. Our best friends at the moment are the pair of young eagles off the left wing. They have unerringly found the strongest thermal so we'll bank left and join them in their dance. Having climbed now to 12000 Feet, our flight will be a minimum of an hour, (sans additional thermals). Soaring is a dance really - A peaceful time of finesse and grace and moving with nature. This is true, of course, with any dance.
And for Dance, I am pleased to say, when on the ground :-) I am able to include waltz, swing and in particular, tango in my repertoire. I usually make an effort go dancing a couple of times a week, So I hope you wont mind cutting a rug from time to time, whether a grand Ballroom in Chicago, or a dance lesson in Boston, or an all night tango in Sankt Petersburg, Russia. ( Russia is a lot of fun and I hope to return in the near future!)
I make the most of travel when I have the opportunity.
Of course, exciting moments are well balanced by the ordinary day to day life. From the things the profile stats don't say... I work as a research scientist of an international firm. A fun job complementing my background in physics. Suffice it to say, I am curious about everything love learning about anything. Lately this has been exploring San Diego, as I have recently relocated to here.
I am looking for someone who is direct and playful. Having a sense of humor is a must as is being practical enough enjoy exploring the world while not taking it too seriously. I'm interested in someone who can share some of my interests, of course ( hopefully you won't mind the occasional wine tasting or a turn on the dance floor), while bringing your own interests to the party. The enjoyment of life is learning about new people, new friendships and learning about ourselves in the process.
