One is what others would expect--a group of professional men and women I've known for many years--this group is mostly white, around 35 to 55 age group, highly motivated in their careers and generally a 7 am to 10 pm crowd--this group is fairly conservative in terms of life style although politics tend to be very liberal. the other group is more diverse in terms of ethnicity (a large percentage is African American), many work as bartenders and waiters, while many may have attended college few graduated, this group is more into partying so most are late night people, drugs are commonplace (of course even the first group largely smoke marijuana on the weekends). What I really like most about the second group of friends is that I relate to me on a completely personal basis without regard to what I do for a living. I find that I move between both groups comfortably--so it would be nice to find a woman who is also very adaptable and nonjudgmental--someone fully capable of just liking someone for who they are and not what they do. I see more grey than right or wrong or black or white--and while I form opinions on many if not most things---these opinion--particularly on things I really know little about--are open to being changed. I have lived in Africa, Iran and Austria and feel comfortable in any non-hostile environment--I am very good at adapting. Also I love children and definitely want one or two more--I have a 13 year old daughter from my previous marriage who I adore and spent a lot of time with during the week--although she does not live with me. | | Age group of a partner: | 23-34 | | My perception of an ideal relationship: | Aside from physical attraction, I appreciate a woman who is creative and caring, someone who simply cares for most people around her, someone who appreciates fashion but who does not put that at the top of her priorities, someone who wants children and who has the patience and love to be a great mother and wife. Some one who is naturally sensuous--and someone who I will instinctively feel her thoughts and feelings--and who will have the same instinctive feeling towards me. I like very bright women who are ambiguous but I could care less about what she has done for a living in the past--it would not phase me in the least if she had been an escort or a medical doctor---living through experiences are how we all learn. |
