If GOD wills I like to share a life and a journey with my ezer kenegdo (the bad english translation is helpmeet, but the woman for the man is way beyond than that), and that she desires to be, after GOD, my priority. I believe the woman is the culmination of GOD's creation, she was the last to be created, but out of the rib of the man, GOD made the most beautiful of all creatures: the woman is the view of the real beauty, too big or way beyond the eye of the man; woman is like an small portion of eternity. So I would like my ezer kenegdo not to implore but to reveal that beauty of hers to me. Quoting a writer:"The beauty of the woman is the root of joy, both to the woman and to the man...the desire to enjoy the happiness of her own beauty is the obedience of Eve, and for both it is the love that the lover (Adam) tests in the enchantment of hers". You know, I feel pain on my side (Eve was created by the rib of the side of Adam) because I am not yet with my ezer kenegdo. I believe the lifeguard (better translation than helpmeet) function of the woman is, for one part, because of the pain of the missing rib and also because we need each other to fight, that is how YAHWEH has established it. Also, the ezer kenegdo is, after GOD, the purpose for man to fight. I offer my ezer kenegdo the strength and protection which YAHWEH gives me and has determined for men to provide to their spouses and also with His help to fight and rescue her from the attacks of the serpent as once did in Eden with Eve, but Adam did nothing, except sin with knowledge. |
