Also, let me state first that I am just a Basic member here.
Okay, a bit more about me. Are you ready to take notes?
Like most people I like to have fun and am very committed to my friendships and my family. If you are looking for honesty in a man that is a lot of fun to be with a great sense of humor, charming and opinionated then I may be the gentleman you are searching for. You can't wait for the right person to come along to begin living your life, and I have not, believe me!
Personally, a lifetime of unusual experiences and lots of travel to remote and exotic parts of the world have left me with a respectful way in which I view life and treat people. I realized long ago that my country is not the only culture and many "Americans" do not understand this, which is a pity. Actually, most Americans have no understanding of other cultures at all. This is really sad and very pathetic. I on the other hand, have been to so many different and often exotic places in this small world that I tend to view things the way my mother has always taught me. The key word here is...respect!
I'm also a lover of music and I would probably cease to exsist without it. Some of my passions are, soft blue jeans; romantic evenings by the fireside and violent North Texas spring thunderstorms (which I miss) are really awesome; Purple and deep greens and blues are the colours I choose; Backgammon, collecting stamps, cars, computers (this is also my profession - my space name is onatopa), tropical climates, foreign languages (i.e. Amheric, Ukrainian, Russian), gardenias, Sci-fi stuff (events, movies), animation. I'm a big NASCAR fan (yeah, I've got it really bad!). I also enjoy the Arts, especially the Impressionists and artists like Monet, O'Keeffe, Matisse; Scuba Diving (PADI certified in Central Florida's beautiful Ginnie Springs), domestic and International travel, movies, people watching, Renaissance Faires and gardening.
I believe that my match is out there somewhere. We just have not yet met each other. I'm much more than just a face in the crowd. You hopefully won't be intimidated by this highly sensual, astute, aware and advanced soul.
I am looking for random encounters with enlightening, invigorating people. Nothing terribly serious just yet -- I'm currently taking a break from long committed relationships, just to breathe and learn more about love, others, life, myself. These encounters would seldom stray from innocent. They would be spontaneous, fun, different, vivid. Out in nature or giving to a cause, maybe conventional, maybe far from it. It'll depend on the day and the weather.
